Chubb has appointed Tara Parchment as head of its European personal risk service division, subject to regulatory approval. She will be responsible for the firm's high net worth personal lines in the UK and Europe.
Ms Parchment, currently vice president of personal risk services, UK & Ireland, has spent the last two decades at Chubb. She has served as a UK & Ireland personal lines manager. Ms Parchment also held a variety of underwriting positions before becoming European underwriting centre manager.
In her new role, Ms Parchment will have reporting lines into Jeff Moghrabi, divisional president, continental Europe, and Darryl Page, vice president, Chubb Group and division president, international personal lines.
Executive vice president, Europe and division president, UK & Ireland, David Robinson, said Ms Parchment’s “knowledge, experience and understanding is unrivalled within the high net worth world and she is quite rightly regarded with enormous respect by brokers, clients and key figures in the insurance industry”.
He added: “Tara has been an integral part of Chubb's growth in the high net worth market for more than two decades. She was a member of the original team which launched high net worth in the UK 20 years ago and has made a tremendous contribution to the enormous growth of this business.”
Chubb provides commercial and personal property and casualty insurance, personal accident and supplement health insurance, reinsurance and life insurance to a range of clients.
