High profile private client specialists Richard Jordan and Mark Pearce have joined law firm Gateley as partners from Irwin Mitchell Private Wealth (IMPW).
Mr Jordan joined Thomas Eggar in 2008 from Stevens & Bolton which he had, in turn, joined in 2003 from Lawrence Graham where he had worked since 1998. He was made head of private client at Thomas Eggar in 2010, a role he held until its merger with IMPW at the end of 2015. Mr Jordan was named as an eprivateclient 50 Most Influential between 2012 and 2015.
Previously at Withers, Taylor Wessing and Baker McKenzie, Mr Pearce joined Thomas Eggar as a partner in 2013 and was named as an eprivateclient Top 35 Under 35 from 2012 to 2015.
The UK's first commercial law firm to become a publicly-quoted company admitted to trading on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange, Gateley has over 400 professional advisers, including 140 partners and turnover of over £86 million. The firm has nine locations across the UK including London, Birmingham, Leeds and Machester as well as an office in Dubai.
