The results of the inaugural 2018 eprivateclient Channel Islands Top 35 Under 35 – a new annual list of top young private client practitioners in Guernsey and Jersey - are unveiled today.
Congratulations to the 70 individuals, 35 men and 35 women, who have made it onto the list.
As with its established UK and UK Crown Dependencies stablemate - The Channel Islands Top 35 Under 35 is designed to identify, recognise, introduce and promote the rising stars of the private client professions. It also provides an opportunity for the top 35 men and 35 women to meet each other throughout the next 12 months through smaller events.
The new initiative runs alongside the established UK and UK Crown Dependencies' Top 35 Under 35 – and those individuals nominated and named in today’s results will also be considered for the UK and Crown Dependencies version, which launches later this month.
The selection process began with an open call for nominations from across the private wealth sector for young and upcoming stars within the private client advisory professions, be they lawyers, accountants, trustees or any other professional intermediary, in Jersey and Guernsey.
Once the nomination period had closed in mid May, the nominations were collated and a rigorous judging process took place during which each nominee was judged on the strength of their nomination(s).
Other factors considered during the judging process - undertaken by senior members of PAM Insight's editorial team - include who made the nomination, an individual’s achievements over the past 12 months and number of nominations they received.
Career progression, the quality and extensiveness of nominations and the seniority of who made the nomination and what that person said are crucial elements in determining who makes the list.
A champagne reception will be held for the 35 men and 35 women who are named on the list today in Guernsey and Jersey on Wednesday 20 June and Thursday 21 June 2018 respectively.
The 2018 eprivateclient Channel Islands Top 35 Under 35 initiative and champagne receptions are kindly supported by Cazenove Capital.
