2018 eprivateclient Channel Islands Top 35 Under 35 Nichola Aldrige has been promoted to senior associate at offshore law firm Carey Olsen in its Jersey trusts and private wealth practice.
Ms Aldridge joined Carey Olsen's Jersey trusts and private wealth team in 2013 and she specialises in trust law with a primary focus on non-contentious matters. She acts for Channel Islands trust businesses, private trust companies and family offices and advises on the establishment and operation of private and commercial trust structures and has experience in dealing with complex restructurings.
Ms Aldridge’s promotion was one part of a string of promotions to senior associate at Carey Olsen, which also including Julia Schaefer in the Guernsey dispute resolution and litigation team. Ms Schaefer specialises in complex trust and insolvency matters, and has experience in cross-border contractual disputes, including civil fraud actions, freezing orders and asset tracing, as well as high value art litigation.
At the same time Leonie Corfield and Alexandria du Jardin have been promoted in the Guernsey corporate team, and Claire Le Quesne, who joined the firm in 2006, has been promoted in the Jersey corporate team. Sharon Mungall, who advises on corporate, finance and insolvency matters, was promoted in Carey Olsen's BVI office and Tarina Le Boutillier has also been promoted to senior associate in the firm's Jersey employment team.
The promotions were effective from 1 July 2018.
