Edward Jewson has launched Portfolio Manager Consultancy Ltd (PMCL), which aims to help charity trustees achieve the best from their investment managers.
The focus of the new business is on enhancing charity investment policies and offering a professional due diligence review and ongoing monitoring of portfolio management arrangements and performance.
Mr Jewson, a former member of the PAM Awards Judges Panel, has more than twenty years of experience in advising charities. He founded Jewson Associates, which he sold to Stanhope Capital in 2011, where he became a partner. Mr Jewson has been joined in the business by Tatyana Mursalimov, a former executive director at global investment research at Goldman Sachs.
PMCL offers impartial advice, as it is not affiliated to any fund management group and only receives its remuneration from its clients.
