PAM Insight is putting the call out to participate in its second Top Gun Charity Shooting competition – the clay shooting competition for wealth management professionals.
This fun day of clay pigeon shooting takes place on 7 June 2019, once again at the scenic Holland & Holland shooting grounds in Middlesex.
It is open to private wealth management professionals from across the entire spectrum of advisory disciplines, from lawyers, accountants and trustees, to private bankers, investment managers and stockbrokers.
The inaugural event, held in May, saw 14 teams raise nearly £7000 for Bloodwise, a blood cancer charity which was chosen by the winning team from The Private Office (TPO). Quentin Holland, partner at TPO, was the individual winner and won a four night stay for eight people at Alladale Nature Reserve.
Ed Hicks, managing director at PAM Insight, encouraged entries from both experienced shooters and complete beginners.
“The charity clay pigeon shooting day is very relaxed and takes place in a beautiful country setting not far from the M25,” Mr Hicks said.
“It provides people across the broad range of professional wealth management advisory disciplines an opportunity to network and enjoy or learn a common interest. Building up your network, donating to charity and having fun are the order of the day.”
Each firm will enter one team of four people. A firm’s team of four will be split up on the day, so that participants can mix and shoot with other professionals. For example, a lawyer may shoot with a banker, financial planner and a trustee – an ideal networking opportunity.
Each individual’s score from a firm’s team of four will be added together to create one final team score for a firm. There will be individual winners: first, second, and third; as well as a firm winners, again first, second, and third.
Each firm will pay a fee to enter their team. The proceeds from the day will be donated to the winning firm’s choice of charity. There will also be a prize for the top scoring individual.
